Background: In its fiscal 2026 fourth-quarter (June to August) results released before the market opened on October 1, revenue came to $18.7 billion (up 6% year over year, or 7% in local currency), exceeding both the top end of the company's guidance ($17.75 billion to $18.4 billion) and consensus estimates. New bookings were $22.2 billion (up 4%), and the number of clients with quarterly bookings of more than $100 million reached a record 141. EPS rose 46% to $3.29, and the operating margin improved 3.7 percentage points to 15.3%. CEO Julie Sweet said growth was broad-based across all geographic markets, industry groups, and types of work, and that the company returned a record $11.5 billion to shareholders for the year. In response, the shares rose more than 10% in premarket trading, with gains reported to have reached 17%.
